Here’s another video tutorial. In this detailed tutorial you’ll learn how to create paper cut out effect in Adobe Illustrator. So for this tutorial you’ll need a contour image. Otherwise, you you can use filters on Photoshop to produce basic contour effect. Next you’ll bring the contour image to Illustrator, trace it and then give it some nice colors. After that you’ll add drop shadow and finally make clipping for the artwork to hide unneeded shadow.
