El Messiri is a modern Arabic free font family designed by Mohamed Gaber. The font started with the concept of designing a curvy Arabic typeface. Also to be inspired by the beauty of Naskh. The idea took form with wide counters that improve readability at smaller text sizes. Which gives it subtle details that makes it a great display face at larger sizes.

The font comes in 4 weights (Light, Regular, SemiBold and Bold). The Arabic component also contains a wide glyph set that supports the Arabic, Farsi and Urdu languages.
