TIME AND SALIVA an undergrad design thesis project by Alex Sheyn.
This piece was created entirely from scratch in Adobe Photoshop. The point of the project was to take this ancient Chinese proverb, “With time and saliva, an ant can devour an elephant,” and illustrate it. To me, the proverb means that with enough time and effort, a single person can achieve something great. I wanted the entire process of illustrating the proverb to be the great achievement that the proverb describes. This project took me over 100 hours from start to finish.
